Our Story

The Well Story began with a tremendous leap of faith. God gave me an opportunity that was exciting but the timing made it terrifying. My wife and I were awaiting the birth of our second son so it wasn't ideal.. I was presented with an exclusive 2 year contract to stay with the salon I had been with for 5 1/2 years. It just didn't seem to be what God was stirring in my heart. With the partnership of a dear friend a leap of faith The Well Salon was on its way.

One door after another was opening well beyond our power or control. I was fortunate enough to work with an amazing team in Homewood that welcomed me in so I could take care of my clients while simultaneously overseeing the design and build out of the space.  Friendships I've gained over the years became a huge factor as people saw the opportunity to contribute to this amazing place. One thing after another continued to happen and progress moved at a supernatural rate. 6.5 months later the doors were open and the community has flooded us with support and kindness. My vision is a salon similar to what I saw 20 years ago when I entered the industry, One centered around customer service, education, and a passion for people.

Here at The Well we are a team of creatives that put the customer first with unmatched passion for education and the pursuit of all things cutting and coloring. We are your one stop shop. My favorite thing about what I do is the time growing and cultivating relationships, whether that be with my guest or my team. It is truly the joy of my life. I am an Educator for R+Co now as well where that passion gets to extend beyond the walls of the salon.With a passion for serving others I love helping others grow in any way I can. There are so many people we get to have an impact on or be impacted by. There are countless stories that I could share that show how much of a privilege it is to do what we do. For God's footprint to be here and his love to be shown is my goal.
